Sorry it took so long to respond - busy busy.

1st - thanks again!

2nd - the other plants are:
Lippia nodiflora
Polygonum coccineum
Ludwigia peruensis
Ruellia brittoniana

Looks like I'll need to set up a small Central American biotope *grin*

yikes, carnivorous plants! i don't dare buy one, or next thing i know my house will be filled with them. i'm glad to hear that those marginals plants got there OK. i was going to leave you a note on DendroBoard, but that site is down(?).

i think that you will like those mangroves. they are cool plants. i would suggest potting up the mangroves in semi-permanent containers as soon as you can. they are overall pretty hardy, but they resent being transplanted. they grow, so i suggest two or three in each of those hanging planters, so that they fill in faster.

you know i failed to write down the other plants that i included in the box. can you refresh my memory? i can provide some tips for those too. most of those other plants would not be able to tolerate any kind of brackish water, but i sent them along because they could make a pretty nice Southeast US/Central American setup with killis or Cryptoheros cichlids or whatever.

talk to you later.

cheers,
