I think I&#8217;m going to request one through my local bookstore &#8211; they&#8217;ll often order an extra for the shelves.<\/li>\n<li>Radio &#8211; I heard a song for the first time the other day &#8211; The Smith&#8217;s <em>Girlfriend in a Coma<\/em>. Bwaaa-haa-haa-haa! I was never much of a Smith&#8217;s fan &#8211; it always seemed to me a bit unseemly to be that <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">whiny<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">self-pitying<\/span> introspective without at least a half gallon of brown liquor in your belly. <em>Girlfriend in a coma<\/em>?!? Case closed.<\/li>\n<li>DVD &#8211; 29 years worth of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&amp;location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fexec%2Fobidos%2Ftg%2Fdetail%2F-%2FB000VPNSJY%3F%255Fencoding%3DUTF8%26m%3DATVPDKIKX0DER%26v%3Dglance&amp;tag=hawkdog-20&amp;linkCode=ur2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325\">National Lampoon<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: medium none  ! important; margin: 0px ! important\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=hawkdog-20&amp;l=ur2&amp;o=1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" \/>? I&#8217;m in. I&#8217;ll spare everyone the fogeyniscences &#8211; suffice it to say, I remember very clearly the moment I first clapped eyes on a NatLamp.<\/li>\n<li>Paper &#8211; papercraft <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amago.jp.lv\/papercraft\/papercraft2.html\">Japanese trout<\/a>. Remember, &#8220;If the trout are lost, smash the state!&#8221; (Tom McGuane?) Aside &#8211; coming up on smash the state time anyhoo, methinks.
